Family Community Circle We’ll share music, movement, community, connection, fun and games - all while practicing essential skills in being present with our nervous systems and our emotions. For children ages 2-6. (Parents are encouraged, but not required, to participate.)
Kids’ Community Circle We’ll share music, movement, community, connection, fun and games - all while practicing essential skills in being present with our nervous systems and our emotions. For young people ages 7-11.
Teen Community Circle In a low-pressure environment (no participation required, all activities by invitation) we’ll share community, connection, and games - all while practicing essential skills in being present with our nervous systems and our emotions. For young people ages 12-17.
Field Trip Club Every week, we’ll use our imaginations to take a virtual field trip to the zoo, the fire station, the moon, and other places chosen by our students. Every session includes group discussion, music, movement, and inquiry-based education to exercise our curiosity and creativity. For children ages 3-8.
Young Writers Club We will do deep study of children’s literature classics, new and old, integrating plenty of play, art, and conversation. We’ll also take time during each session to create our own stories via storytelling, dictation, and/or developmental spelling. If you like, you can create your own books! For children ages 3-8.
Top Reading Secrets In this class for struggling readers, we will combine word decoding skills with fun phonemic awareness exercises to train our ears, all in a playful, social setting where we’ll also practice holistic skills essential to reading success: listening, speaking, rhyming, singing, and telling stories. For emerging and struggling readers ages 6-10. To register, first sign up for a complimentary assessment to ensure that this will be a good fit for your child and to place your child in an appropriate group [link coming]. This class works best in conjunction with 1:1 tutoring, but being a tutoring client is not required.
