Mindful Movement Adventure. In this fun, social class, we’ll take an imaginative field trip each week using creative movement and sensory play to explore the natural world. Your child will sing, play, get exercise, and learn calming self-regulation skills! Available for ages 3-7 and 6-10.

Expert Readers: Small Group Phonics Workshop. Get excited to read and write! Join this small group intensive based on structured linguistic literacy science for systematic word work in listening, speaking, spelling, and reading using fun, hands-on materials. Level K (ages 5-8) and Level 1 (ages 6-9) available now! Classes for older readers coming in October 2025.

STORY WORLD: A Hybrid Class for Reading Comprehension & Social Emotional Learning. Fiction is good for the brain - AND heart! In this social class, your child will listen to stories and engage in reflection, discussion, critical thinking, and creative play. Ages 5-8. Contact me if you’d like this class for a different age.

Music is Magic! Singing has a powerful impact on the brain - and heart. Your child will sing, do fingerplays, dance, and improve language & social skills in this joyful class facilitated by a child development specialist. All abilities welcome & embraced! Ages 3-7. BODY DOUBLING: Life Skills Class & Hangout Space. Learn to do cool stuff! We’ll practice basic life skills like cleaning & repair, and brain skills like managing time & emotions. During body doubling (coworking) time, learners will get support to work on goals while hanging out with friends. Ages 11-14, and 14-18. Link is live, start dates TBD. Intergenerational Song Play! All-ages event for babies, elders, and everyone in between! Elders, children, and disabled adults get the mic first. Suggested donation $10-20, NOTAFLOF, 30% of donations go to mutual aid. Will happen once a month on Sundays. Link is not live yet - check back soon for exact dates, times, and sign-up info!

Authentic Math Tutoring. Get customized support from a patient, creative, compassionate teacher with expertise in pedagogy and special education! I LOVE math, and I’ll motivate your learner with fun discussion, dynamic strategies, and real-world math applications. Ages 3-18. I also offer tutoring outside of Outschool. Authentic Literacy Tutoring. Get customized literacy support from an accomplished writer with master’s degrees in Creative Writing & Special Ed! From phonics & early literacy to advanced creative writing, public speaking, & test prep, I’m here to help. Ages 3 and up. I also offer tutoring outside of Outschool. Authentic Writing. (Ages 8-11, 11-14, 14-18.) Study & create writing across many genres - from stories & essays to letters, emails, slam poetry/spoken word, ads, scripts & more in a positive community workshop format.

Musical math. (Ages 3-6 and 5-8.) Learn math through songs, rhymes, chants, patterns, fun games, and hands-on materials.

Math Club. (Various levels from K-10.) Math is more than numbers - it’s communicating & solving problems! Talk through tough problems with friends & play fun games.

Creative Mythology Lab. (Ages 8-11, 11-14, & 14-18.) Explore diverse world mythologies & work on creative mythology projects via art, comics, poetry, music, and more!

AUTONOMOUS ZONE: A Social-Emotional Circle. (Ages 8-11, 11-14, 14-18.) Get grounded & centered, explore thoughtful questions with friends, grow your leadership skills & take part in group games and projects.

Gender Fluid History. (Ages 11-14, 14-18.) In this discussion-based class with optional readings & projects, we’ll learn about gender-nonconforming people & movements, from ancient times to today.
